Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore are touring the country with perfor mances o f their play ‘Things That Lovers Do' and an album of the same name. The newlyweds are expecting their first child. ‘Lovers Do’ Keeps Lovers Together Singers Kenny Lattimore and Chanté Moore promote album, play (A P)— Singers Kenny Lattimore and Chanté Moore have built their careers on songs about romance. Now the husband-and-wife team hasjoined forces toexplore "Things That Lovers Do" through an album and a play with that title. The couple, who have been mar ried a little more than a year, have recorded an album com posed mainly o f classic R&B duets, and the play, directed by Tony Award- w inner George Faison, includes all the album 's songs plus some of their signature tunes. Lattimore says he's excited be cause this is the fust time an R&B act has used starring roles in a play to launch a new album, though sev eral acts have worked their hits into stage productions. Lattimore and Moore say the play, which tells the story o f two singers destined for one another but dealing with twists and turns aloqfg the way, has some personal touches but shouldn’t be construed winding up in Chicago.
